Confession: When Mike Stokes and I created our partnership, I had never created a unique piece of real estate on the internet. I needed a step by step guide. So, we created one.

How cool is this?

Having your own blog is the ideal tool for marketing anything; yourself, a product or someone else’s product. Having the right coaches, Mike & me, who understand the need for step-by-step instructions, is even better. I made sure I could use this book and share it with my friends who thought I was an internet wizard when I could buy domains and create my own email address. (I also made sure it was in their budget.)

After you’ve logged in to your admin panel dashboard…

1. Click on “Posts” near the top of the left sidebar of your dashboard.

2. Click on “Add New” in the dropdown box below “Posts”.

3. Put your title in the top box.

Note: You should ALWAYS have one of your keywords in EVERY title that you write.

4. Type your content in the bigger box below the title box. (This is basically set up very similar to writing a Word document,)

5. When you’re finished, click on “Publish” in the right sidebar.

6. To see what your page looks like, you can click on “View Post” at the top of the page.

7. If you go look at your new post, after you’ve looked at it, click on the “back” button on your browser to get back to the dashboard.

Note: You can come back and change or edit what you’ve written at any time.

I recommend writing your posts in a program that allows you to proof your work before publishing it on your blog.
